Killer Venison Burgers!

Texas Venison Burgers

Chefs Notes:

This is a friends recipe, who hunts frequently and wants to use all of his deer meat. He likes his burgers a little more on the juicy side as opposed to lean. Check out his Venison cheeseburger recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Ground Venison
  • 3 oz Pork Fat Back, Ground
  • Salt
  • Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon Bolner’s Fiesta Brand Hamburger Deluxe Seasoning
  • Cheese Slices (Your Choice)

Directions:

Mix venison and pork. Mix in Hamburger Deluxe Seasoning. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Place meat mixture in the Frig for 20 –25 minutes, prior to making venison patties. Sear or grill to taste; for a juicy burger, do not cook beyond medium-rare. Add cheese prior to Burgers being fully cooked so cheese will melt on patty. Heat buns on grill or in microwave and add your favorite condiments.

After I make venison burgers........I sautee (carmelize) onions and mushrooms and add those on top of the melted swiss cheese and add jalapeno's!!!
