JoAnn's Hot Fudge Pudding

by Marta Gibson-Muslin
(Sisterdale, Texas)

This was a Sunday tradition in our family. Every Sunday mom (JoAnn Gibson of Wichita Falls, Texas) would make either Pot Roast with potatoes and carrots or beans and cornbread. Dessert was Hot Fudge Pudding! Definitely a comfort food at our house. Absolutely wonderful. Even better if you have some vanilla ice cream to add to it. If you are a chocolate lover, you will love this. It's very easy.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

You will need:
1 1/2 C Bisquick
1/2 C Milk
1/2 C Sugar (I use 1/4 Cup)
1/4 C Brown Sugar
3/4 of a 12oz bag semi sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 C Water

In a sauce pan, bring the water to a boil, remove from heat and add the chocolate chips. While the chocolate chips are melting, mix the Bisquick, sugar and milk into a 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and pour the melted chocolate chips on top. Bake for 35 minutes.
