Jalapeno Jelly Recipe
This Jalapeno Jelly recipe is both sweet and spicy. A perfect combination. Try it out!
- 3/4 cup jalapeno peppers, remove seeds and chop green part.
- 3/4 cup chopped red bell peppers
- 5 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 pouch Certo
Place peppers in large pot. Add sugar, vinegar and water. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool for 20 minutes. Add Certo; mix well and place pot on heat.
Allow jelly to come to a full boil; remove from heat. Stir well and pour into clean, hot jelly glasses; top with rings and lids that are warm.
As jelly is cooling, turn jars every 15 minutes to distribute peppers evenly. Makes about 5-6 pints.
