A tasty fruit cobbler recipe is just what you need to complement any meal!

Cook's Notes: I love this Fruit Cobbler Recipe because you can use whatever type fruit you prefer. It can be cherries, apples, peaches, dewberries or strawberries. Whatever you so desire.


  • ¼ lb. butter (sweet cream)
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • 1 rounded tsp baking powder
  • Approximately 1 ½ cups fruit, give or take ½ cup (depending on your likes)

Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In the oven, first melt butter in a 10” x 13” Pyrex baking dish. Then mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add milk and mix well. Once the butter has melted and spread over the bottom of the pan, weave the batter into the pan, around and around, leaving spaces where only the butter shows. Fill the spaces with fruit, piling it on, sugar or syrup and all. Place cobbler in oven and bake until it browns on the edges and the sugar begins to caramelize in the spaces-about 35 minutes. Add your favorite flavor of Blue Bell ice cream on top. ENJOY!!
