Texan Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup melted sweet butter
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions: Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into an unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 45-50 minutes. Nothing beats a great piece of pecan pie with a large scoop of Blue Bell “Homemade Vanilla” ice cream.


Southern Pecan Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 Stick Sweet Cream Butter slightly melted
  • 1 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pie shell, unbaked – 9”
  • 1 1/4 cup pecan halves

Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degree. Mix butter and sugar together. Add eggs, pecans, syrup and vanilla. Fill pie shell with mixture and bake approximately 45 minutes.
