Here's a quick recipe for great tasting Catfish Fajitas.
This is probably one of the simplest recipes you can cook on the grill. However, as a fisherman myself, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed by the end result.
- 2 Pounds Of Catfish Fillets (Or You Can Substitute Any Fish You Have On Hand)
- 1 Cup Fresh Lime Juice (Approximately 6 Limes)
- 2 Teaspoons Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Chopped Cilantro
Place the fish in a large zip lock plastic bag. Pour ingredients over fish. Seal bag and place in frig for approximately 30 –40 minutes.
DO NOT MARINATE FISH LONGER THAN ONE HOUR AS THE ACID IN THE LIME WILL “COOK” THE FISH!
Fire up the grill and place fish on cooking surface. Grilling time should be approximately 5 minutes per side on a medium fire or until fish flakes easily.
