Texas Brown Sugar Apple Pie


  • 6 Granny Smith Apples
  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ Teaspoon Of Cinnamon
  • 1 Tablespoon Of Sweet Cream Butter

Additional Ingredients:

  • ¼ Cup Brown Sugar
  • ¼ Cup Sweet Cream Butter
  • ½ Cup Flour


Grease a 9-inch pie pan. Peel and slice apples. Place a layer of the apple slices in the pie pan and sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon, and dot with butter.

Repeat this process until all apple slices are used. Blend together ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup butter and the flour. Flatten small dollops of this dough into crude circles and arrangein a casual fashion on top of the apples.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 – 40 minutes or until apples are soft. Serve with Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream.
