Easy Barbeque Rib Recipes
We've seen barbeque rib recipes appear all over cookbooks and in many websites. Well, we figured we would add a little bit of Texas and share our barbeque rib recipes with you as well!
Ahh! The joy of cooking ribs on the grill. It just doesn’t get any better than that! Ribs served right off the grill are just incredible. Ever made ribs before? If you haven't, we have a couple of killer recipes for you to try. Check them out!
Roasting your Ribs:
We've talked to some folks that like to roast the ribs first, then finish cooking the barbeque ribs on the grill or in a smoker. Cooking ribs this way allows you to infuse the meats with a grilled flavor and finish them off with a tasty crust (which you can't get with roasting alone). Try this method next time you make barbeque ribs. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how easy this technique is. In fact, you could make this an optional step on your favorite bbq rib recipe.
Cooking ribs using a gas grill:
For you die-hard grillers out there, if you want to either smoke or grill your barbeque ribs, remember the trick is slow cooking in a controlled fire. Gas grills can control heat levels quite nicely, but you will probably need to add aluminum foil to at least one of the burners so that you can slow cook your barbeque ribs, and not burn them.
Cooking ribs using a charcoal grill:
If you decide to use charcoal, (which I think gives the barbeque ribs a better flavor), make sure to keep the fire going by adding additional coals every hour or so. This becomes easy if you use a charcoal chimney starter. Check out our indirect heat video as this will help add a success quotient to your next barbeque ribs.
