Texas Green Salsa

Green Salsa, Texas Style


  • 10 Tomatillos
  • 2 Serrano Chilies
  • 3 Cloves Of Garlic
  • 1 10-15 Sweet Onion
  • 1 Bunch Cilantro, Chopped


Start by removing stiff outer peel of tomatillos and snap off the stems, but do not core.

Boil tomatillos and chilies for 10 minutes in water and cover. Blend in blender until smooth, adding a little water if absolutely necessary for smooth texture.

Add garlic, cilantro, and onion. Blend thoroughly and then return to heat. Simmer for approximately 5 minutes and then refrigerate.
