Brisket Dry Rub, Texas style

Cook's notes:

For each pound of brisket use the following...


  • 1/2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. fresh ground black pepper


  • 3 tablespoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon fresh ground coarse pepper
  • 3 tablespoon Fiesta Brand Steak Seasoning


Combine spices and rub two-thirds of the spices on the fat side and one-third on the bottom side of brisket before grilling.
