Green Bean Casserole


  • 2 Packages Of Frozen, French-Style Green Beans
  • 1 Can (16 Ounce) Bean Sprouts, Drained (Or 2 Cups Fresh)
  • 1 Can (11 Ounce) Undiluted Mushroom Soup
  • 2 Cans (8 Ounce) Water Chestnuts, Drained And Sliced
  • ½ Pound Grated Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Can French-fried Onions
  • 1 Tablespoon Chopped Onions


Start by cooking the beans until almost done. Next drain the beans and place on paper towels. Next layer the beans, mushrooms, soup, water chestnuts, bean sprouts, ½ pound of the cheese and onions. Layer again, using half the cheese on top of the casserole.

Crumble French-fried onions over the top and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 30 minutes.
